秋葉原のヤマギワリビナ本館が今年8月で残念ながら閉店。最後に店内を見るだけ見に行こうと思ったら、前々から欲しいなーと思っていたZeppelinがなんと特価で出ている。定価売りしかしていないはずの製品なので、こんなことはめったにない。

そんなわけで見た瞬間、即買いをしそうになってしまうのをガマンしつつ、店員さんに声をかけてみたところ、ヤマギワのかたではなく、B&W社のかたで、いろいろと情報を収集。・・・で情報量が重なるほど結局購入してしまう方向にしか行かざるをえないっていう^^;

これまで購入を迷っていた個人的な理由のひとつが、DVDやブルーレイなどの外部接続についてでしたが、光ライン入力で問題なく、かつ音質も一定以上のクオリティであることを実際に聴いて確認。

そして情報として最大の収穫だったのは、このZeppelinは同社のマーケットへの普及を狙った戦略製品のため、もともと定価の値付けがかなり抑えられているのだという事実。

 

本来の値付けのレートであれば13万くらいに設定するものらしい。それを定価では8万程度に抑えてある。なのでほとんど値引きされることがないとのこと。
（実際にこの製品を出してから、他の製品の売り上げが伸びているのだそうだ。ほほぉ～）
それが今回はプライスダウンしている。しかも2台だけ！

ということで、そそくさと購入手続きをしたのでした＾＾

実際の音質としては、iPodスピーカの類として、かなりがんばっている感じで、普通のユーザーが利用するには必要にして充分だと思います。そしてやっぱりデザインの満足感がもっとも大きい。

ちなみにカタログやAppleのHPでは表記が更新されていませんが、もちろんiPhone4でもＯＫです。
